Vernachlässigt habe ich bisher hier im Blog auf Konferenzen und Veranstaltungen hinzuweisen, die für meine Themengebiet relevant und interessant sind. Das will ich heute nachholen:
Als erstes die WikiSym 2008 in Porto:” WikiSym is the foremost conference devoted to using, developing and researching wikis. In our fourth year, only WikiSym brings together organisations that use wikis to meet face to face with leading and emerging vendors, active researchers and leading wiki consultants. WikiSym 2008 explores and extends our thriving wiki community, building on the past 4 years to again bring together researchers, practitioners, and technical writers to gather, discuss, share best practices and develop knowledge. ”
Ich werde dort sein und unter dem Titel “Visualizing Wiki-Supported Knowledge Building: Co-Evolution of Individual and Collective Knowledge” unsere Netzwerkanalyse eines Artikelskorpus aus der Wikipedia vorstellen.
Als zweites die CSCL 2009 auf Rhodos (Grichenland) vom 8.-13. Juni 2009 [via Gerry Stahl]. Das Thema heißt “CSCL Practices, genauer: “The conference focuses on issues related to formal and informal learning through collaboration, promoting productive collaborative interactions with the help of the computer and other communication technologies. The conference theme “CSCL Practices” emphasizes practices relating to technology-based collaborative learning in schools, workplaces, and daily life.”

Ich war dieses Jahr live dabei und muss sagen, dass ich davon maßlos begeistert war. Man nimmt von der Wikisym so viel an Wissen mit, das ist unglaublich. Da lohnt es sich echt, wegen dieser Veranstaltung nach Portugal zu reisen.
Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen und noch dazu hoffe ich, dass es im kommenden Jahr auch wieder eine Wikisym geben wird.
schade, denn ich beschäftige mich auch gerade mit Wikisym und da wären mir die Tage in Rhodos echt gut reingekommen. Hätte wohl wirklich viel lernen können dort. Aber nunja, wird sicher 2010 auch noch werden und so kann ich mich weiter intensivst damit beschäftigen.
